What is Lutterworth Area Schools

Extended Service?

The Lutterworth Area Schools Association is a group of 13 schools that works collaboratively across the Lutterworth area and surrounding villages within the Harborough District.

Their partnership working has ensured that the schools are now supported by an Extended Services Team, who are based at the One Stop Shop, Gilmorton Road, Lutterworth.

The team will aim to support the schools in providing a varied menu of activities for children after school, help provide up to date information on childcare for working parents, parenting support activities. They will also work with the local community to enable access to school facilities and help to assist with access to specialist services for children and families that need it.

The project works directly for the schools and is employed by them and is funded from the Government department for children, families and schools, and has been given an extra boost through the Big Lottery Fund. They have funded a Family Learning Co-ordinator for the area.

We work in partnership with lots of local organisations to deliver and provide information about services to the children, families and young people in the area.

Some partners deliver services with us and with others we work together for the benefit of the wider community. We currently have a number of different activities which are listed in this booklet.

Most of the organisations we work with are detailed in our booklet.

Some of the activities we run for children, young people and adults are listed below:
